1738 – The brig Mary and Ann arrives from Jamaica with small-pox on board. It is quarantined off “Bedlars” Island.

1743 – James Jauncey commands Charity

1744 – Capt. John Jauncey commands Clarendon

1745 – Capt. Jauncey (Lincoln) and Capt. Rosewel (Triton) take a large Spanish Ship off Cayan, and carry her up to Barbados

1745 – The Lincoln was lost on the Spanish coast on Dec. 11- the crew were “putting the Vessel on the Careen.”

1756 – Capt. John Jauncey takes ownership of Charming Sally

17?? – Capt. John Jauncey takes ownership of Polly, Royal Hunter, and Sally

1758 – James Jauncey takes ownership of Oliver Cromwell, America, Mary Anne, Lord Howe, and Good Intent

1758-1774 – James Jauncey was made Warden of the port of New York

1759 – James Jauncey adds Caty to his fleet
